Hog Health Seminars Set

A series of animal health seminars are being held at five locations across Iowa in February. The one-day conferences will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Carrolltown Inn in Carroll; Feb. 18 at the Western Iowa Technical Community College in Cherokee; Feb. 19 at the Elks Club in Iowa Falls; Feb. 20 at Luigi’s Restaurant in Oelwein; and Feb. 21 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Iowa City. The programs will cover circovirus, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, reducing medication costs, improving production through drinking water, biosecurity principles and new production tips in finishing.
