Langer joins Zinpro as international business development manager

Zinpro Corp. today announced that Stefan Langer, Ph.D., has joined the company as business development manager-swine, international. In this role, he will be supporting the company's swine customers to achieve their goals for increased profitability, better welfare and less use of antibiotics.

Based in Berlin, Germany, Langer brings more than 25 years of animal production and nutrition experience to the role. He will utilize that experience to provide value-added, technical and practical advice to premix and feed mill businesses as well as large swine customers. He will also conduct customer validation trials to show the benefits of Zinpro Performance Minerals and provide technical support for digital swine management tools.

"Stefan understands how to increase profitability in swine operations through optimizing nutrition and management," says Hans Aae, vice president of sales-Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Oceania and Russia for Zinpro. "He will be very helpful to our customers in customizing solutions to overcome the specific challenges of each operation."

Prior to joining Zinpro, Langer worked as a global director for a German feed additive company. He had also previously held several roles with a global food and agriculture company in Russia, Germany, Switzerland and the Philippines. Those roles included consulting, auditing and key-account management, focused on animal nutrition and feed production, product development and portfolio management. He earned his doctoral degree in animal nutrition from The Rowett Institute, University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom.
