Zinpro Corp. announces key changes to its executive leadership, with William Scrimgeour moving from his role as both Zinpro Corp. president and chief executive officer to the sole responsibility of CEO. Rob Sheffer, who previously served as chief operating officer, becomes company president; and Patrick Brunner, who previously served as chief financial officer, becomes COO. The changes went into effect Jan. 1.
The leadership role changes allow Scrimgeour to continue a focus on developing new trace mineral products and launching them to the industry. “I am excited to work towards expanding Zinpro’s product portfolio and business role to benefit customers with innovative, nutritional products and business solutions,” says Scrimgeour. “I am also looking forward to helping with the successful transition of our leadership team.”
Scrimgeour began serving as Zinpro Corp. president and CEO in June 2017, having served as president and COO since 2008. Sheffer joined Zinpro Corp. as COO in June 2017, after having served in many leadership roles during more than 25 years working in the global animal nutrition business. Brunner has served as Zinpro Corp.’s CFO since 2013, having previously held a variety of financial leadership roles in the manufacturing and consumer packaged goods industries.
“I’m very pleased that Rob has accepted the role as Zinpro Corp. president and that Patrick has accepted the role of COO,” says Scrimgeour. “Both are proven leaders; Rob has worked closely with me to optimally position Zinpro and our employees for future success, and Patrick has shown great skill in keeping Zinpro Corp. financially sound and leading the team through tremendous growth.”
As the industry leader in trace mineral nutrition for livestock, poultry, equine, pets and aquaculture, Zinpro is committed to delivering the people, products and educational tools needed to help customers improve the performance and profitability of their operations.
