Dr. Laura Greiner
Assistant Professor
Iowa State University
Dr. Laura Greiner spends 50 percent of her time teaching undergraduate students about swine production, 25 percent of her time conducting research and 25 percent of her time in extension programs. She currently has four graduate students with her main research focused around gilt and sow development and reproduction associated with nutrition and disease. Prior to starting at Iowa State University three years ago, she spent 13 years at Carthage Innovative Swine Solutions where she served as the Director of Research and a Nutrition Director.
Dr. Lan Zheng
Technical Service Manager
DSM
Dr. Lan Zheng is a Technical Service Manager at DSM. Previously, Lan worked as a monogastric animal nutritionist for amino acids global sales at CJ Cheiljedang. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Ph.D. in Swine Nutrition. Her current research interest is to apply nutritional interventions and mycotoxin mitigation management that have immediate or long-term benefits on intestinal health, ultimately increasing animal growth performance and reducing production costs.
