Five major organizations have joined together as co-leaders of the U.S. Coalition for TPP to push for the passage of the Trans Pacific Partnership trade agreement.

The co-leaders are the American Farm Bureau Federation, Business Roundtable, Emergency Committee for American Trade, National Association of Manufacturers, and U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The TPP was signed on Feb. 3 by the United States and 11 other countries. The trade agreement covers 40% of the global economy and is projected to increase the global domestic product by $225 billion and the U.S. GDP by $77 billion by 2025.
