National Hog Farmer's annual New Product Tour showcases some of the best innovations that, as the name implies, are new for hog producers.

This year, nine products were scrutinized by our expert panel of Clayton Johnson, veterinarian with Carthage Veterinary Service in Carthage, Ill.; Gregg Hora, hog producer from Fort Dodge, Iowa; Mark Knauer, North Carolina State University Animal Science Associate Professor & Extension Swine Specialist; and Brett Ramirez, Iowa State University assistant professor in Ag & Biosystems Engineering.

New Product Tour 2020 took place during the National Hog Farmer's Global Hog Industry Virtual Conference in May, where the panel was presented a short video shared by the respective company representatives, after which a brief question-and-answer session allowed panelists to find out more about each product.

Our panelists do not rank the products, and they are listed here in no particular order. Online voting allowed the public to cast a ballot of their favorite to be named Producers' Choice.
