The AgEng 2010 Conference will be held in Clemont-Ferrand, France, from Sept. 6-8. Major topics for the conference include information and communication technologies, environmental assessment, use of livestock effluent, development of new sensors, new technological solutions offering greater operator safety developments, and the use of robotics for territorial applications.
The conference offers an opportunity to discuss scientific and technical progress made on agricultural environmental technology at the international level. A diverse set of speakers includes political, industrial and scientific figures from Europe and emerging countries, who will present their visions of the technological and organizational developments required to create sustainable agriculture that is economically viable, competitive and ensures environmental excellence.
Organizers of the event include Cemagref, a public research institute that targets results directly useable in sustainable land and water management, along with the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng) and the French Society for Agricultural Machinery and Rural Engineering (SitmAfgr).
