Iowa Select Farms hosted an open house at its new wean-to-finish facility near Williams, Iowa, on May 24. In addition to this new facility offering the latest in equipment and structure offering the ultimate in pig care, the open house was also used to showcase the blending of old and new technologies to reduce odors and be good neighbors. Iowa Select Farms has partnered with the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers in the organization’s Green Farmstead Partner program to improve a farm’s aesthetics. The double-E tunnel-ventilated barn will house 4,800 pigs.
