It has been a great first year for the #RealPigFarming social media outreach campaign. Pig Farmers, veterinarians, youth and allied industry have embraced the challenge to openly share the real story of modern pork production.

In the spirit of celebrating the awesome job of those who accepted the challenge to join the online conversation, we launched the #RealPigFarming Challenge in May.  Over the past two weeks, we invited the public to select the #RealPigFarming Grand Champion.

Personally, the 22 #RealPigFarming challenge finalists were all winners in my book.  Each told a different story and shared unique messages.
