The 76th annual Minnesota Nutrition Conference delved into the latest research, information and best practices in livestock nutrition, with presentations divided into Ruminant, Non-Ruminant and Equine. The conference included 21 presentations by speakers representing industry, government and academia from across the county, eight University of Minnesota research updates and one roundtable with five equine industry exports. The conference, at Mystic Lake Casino & Hotel near Prior Lake, Minn., also featured a general session focusing on "Societal Concerns in Animal Nutrition," where experts and practitioners discussed emerging societal concerns in animal nutrition from genetically engineered feed to antibiotics to housing for laying hens
