Leading speakers from across the United States and the world will address attendees at the first International Conference on Feed Efficiency in Swine, Nov. 8-9, 2011 at the Qwest Center in Omaha, NE.

Topics will range from feed processing, liquid feeding and environmental influences to genetic selection, herd health and barn management.

Other sessions will review economic importance, amino acid nutrition, immune response, influence of physiology, and dietary energy concentration.

Additional talks will focus on feed efficiency targets, feed processing and emerging technologies with potential to influence feed efficiency.

The conference is a joint venture between Iowa State University and Kansas State University.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Omaha Hilton hotel, linked to the Qwest Center. Registration is $175 per person, $50 per student, when registered by Oct. 5, and $275 and $100, respectively, after that date.
