The Senate confirmed Darci Vetter as United States Trade Representative Chief Agricultural Negotiator. Prior to her confirmation, Vetter served as deputy undersecretary of agriculture for Farm and Foreign Agriculture Services where she guided the department’s trade efforts. Earlier this year a group of approximately 100 agricultural organizations sent a letter to the Senate leadership stating their support for her nomination.
