Jimdi Inc. has announced the acquisition of the swine floor assets of DuraPlas (formerly Southwest Agri-Plastics). This includes the Dura-Tuff and Dura-Lock product offerings. Jimdi will market the portfolio under the brand names Top-Tread and Lunar-Lock. DuraPlas will be handing off the swine floor assets to Jimdi to focus on their growing ventures serving a range of different industries including poultry and grain.

“We are extremely proud to add Top-Tread and Lunar-Lock to our equipment offering” said David Gibel, president of Jimdi. “This will enhance our ability to be a trusted partner to our customers in swine construction. With our broad product breadth, deep experience and responsive customer service, Jimdi is well positioned to be the first flooring call for new builds and remodels of nursery and farrowing barns. In addition, the combination of the market leading Lunar-Lock and our time saving Wing-Lock™ greatly expands Jimdi’s growth in plastic fasteners for finishing barns.”

Jimdi will continue to focus on each flooring project from a total build perspective, knowing that floor system needs to support the overall barn design, schedule and budget. As the industry is dynamic, builders will now have more options with Jimdi. Jimdi’s Sure-Step and Top-Tread flooring systems will continue to be manufactured in the U.S.
