An innovative leader in swine equipment and manufacturing, Farmweld held a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday at its headquarters in Teutopolis, Ill. to celebrate its state-of-the-art new office building, which the company says will continue to attract “the best and the brightest” employees. 

“Exceptional employees are what has made Farmweld successful throughout the past 40 years, and what will carry our culture and brand into the future,” said Frank Brummer, Farmweld president. “Our atmosphere is fun, and this addition will more adequately fit that, with a half-court basketball court, ping pong table and open layout, allowing for the communication level we have every day across the multiple facets of the business.”

Brummer calls the 10,000-square-foot expansion “our dream office project” and says the project cultivates Farmweld’s We Care culture, caring about the customer, products and each other.

At the groundbreaking, Brummer shared some past stories and thanked everyone who has helped get Farmweld to this point. One of those is Lori Runde, whom has been with Farmweld for 29 years, and worked with the Teutopolis Village Board on improving a street on the west side of the current building, public water and sewer service and extending the TIF District.

“Without these key improvements, this expansion would not have been possible,” says Runde. Runde then went on to present Mayor Greg Hess with a “key to Farmweld” for his help and support in these projects.
