John Deere released the 9RX tractor with 830 horsepower. It will come equipped with the technology needed for autonomous needs on the farm. The technology is the direct result of what farmers say they need on their farms.
Also released by John Deere was the C series air cart. It has features like the stainless steel control mete and, AccuRate. It will also include the JD EZ CAL calibration system.
In addition, Great Plains released the BD 74 Narrow transport grain drill. It is only 13 feet wide and is designed for minimum tillage farming and is great for waterway work or tight spaces between fields.
Great Plains also had the PL 5905 planter that is 60 feet wide. It includes a bulk fill tank that will hold 164 bushels of seed.
Another item that caught Pearson's eye is the Amazone Ceus 6000 2TX. It is a super high speed tillage tool designed to work at 11.5 mph and is a multipurpose tool.
The new technology displayed was not just iron and rubber. Some companies showed off their aerial or drone technology including CASE IH and their partnership with Boehm Agro. The technology is to advance mapping reports to help farmers maximize yields on their acreage.
