In the face of new attacks on America’s Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS), stakeholders from across the nation will announce a major new campaign to protect the benefits of renewable fuel to America’s economy, energy security and environment. The campaign will be announced via teleconference this Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 10 a.m. eastern standard time.
The new campaign will show the breadth of support for America’s renewable fuel policy at the national and state level. Its launch comes as calls to halt or delay the RFS threaten the communities and innovators benefiting directly from advanced and conventional renewable fuel.
Speakers will address the major issues in the current renewable fuel debate, clarify the impacts if the RFS is halted or delayed, and discuss the scope and elements of the campaign. Remarks will be followed by a question and answer period.
