"In a world where you can be anything, be kind." That quote came to mind this week when I stumbled upon this story from Ohio, where the folks at the Columbiana County Fair came together in a big way to help support a family in need. 

According to the Morning Journal, this year was Tyler Beadnell's third year to auction off a 4-H project, but this past weekend the Kensington youth decided he wanted to give all the proceeds from his market hog to his parents to help with his father's medical bills. In May, Tyler's father, Toby, was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma and the cancer has moved to his skull, neck, spleen, spine and bone marrow. An Air Force veteran, Toby has been hospitalized for the majority of the last three months and was on life support for a period of 10 days. He will be heading home soon, but will continue to travel to Cleveland for treatment.

As you can see in the video below, emotions ran high as this community came together to rally around one of their own. Tyler's market hog was sold five times, bringing in $26,000 for the cause. Donations continue to be made as a GoFundMe was also started for the family.
