Applications are now being accepted for the next American Association of Swine Veterinarians executive director. Current director, Tom Burkgren, has announced his intention to retire in May 2019. Click here for the position description and application details.

The application window is open until Aug. 3. Candidate evaluation, interviewing and selection will be conducted from August to October. Following a successful hire, the leadership transition period is anticipated to extend from November until May 2019.

The AASV Board of Directors assembled the following six-member executive search committee representing a cross section of AASV membership and interests: Bill Hollis, Deborah Murray, Megan Potter, Max Rodibaugh, Pete Thomas and committee chair Scanlon Daniels.
