Without a vote to spare, the Senate today invoked cloture by a vote of 60-37 when 13 Democratic Senators joined Republicans to allow the Senate to move forward tomorrow on Trade Promotion Authority.
Wednesday’s Senate vote on TPA will require a simple majority of 51 votes to send the legislation to President Obama’s desk for signing.
