Vande Rose Farms of Waucoma, Iowa, is supporting active military and veterans with the 2019 Best Bacon in American Giveaway. Packages of the award-winning bacon will be given to 100 veterans who register through the company’s Facebook page.

Each package will contain Vande Rose bacon, valued at $100, and registration for the drawing will conclude on Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11.

Pork With A Purpose was created as the charity outreach platform for Vande Rose Farms.

In conjunction with the Veteran’s Day giveaway, Vande Rose Farms is offering three pork packages on the company website with a portion of each sale to benefit the Travis Mills Foundation. The foundation supports recalibrated veterans and their families through long-term programs that help these heroic men and women overcome physical obstacles, strengthen their families and provide well-deserved rest and relaxation.
