Michigan farmer Mike Stamp arraigned last week after indicted last month by federal grand jury. The 41-page indictment accuses Stamp of falsely claiming he farmed 44,000 acres in order to secure a loan from Wells Fargo.

Visitors who don’t usually venture into Minnesota in the winter are headed there in preparation for Super Bowl. Locals are telling folks to be prepared. Star Tribune writer Jim Souhan advises visitors to avoiding dying in Minnesota and to ignore the TV accents.
