There snow and ice storms across our region have been killers. In Illinois, more than a dozen people have died since the weekend. In Iowa, seven people were killed yesterday alone. That 70-vehicle pileup near Ames killed at least one.

Man who killed Indianapolis Colts player Edwin Jackson was operating his pickup truck at three times the legal limit of alcohol. He has twice been deported from the United States and this won’t be the first time he is charged with driving drunk. President weighed in with his tweets.
