Max Armstrong reports on the recent Purdue/CME study and top concerns for farmers
November 26, 2021
Max Armstrong shares insight from the recent Purdue/CME survey showing that farmers are concerned about input prices. USDA data from Illinois alone were up more than 130% from a year ago, but those higher costs go beyond that – seed, repairs, and more. There's concern of a cost-price squeeze, but despite those concerns producers remain bullish on one area – farmland values.
Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
