Senate Passes Veterinarian Bill

The Senate passed the “Veterinary Medicine Mobility Act” which allows veterinarians to transport and use controlled substances beyond their primary place of practice. The bill recently passed the House and is now on its way to the White House for approval. The legislation was sponsored by the two veterinarians in the House, Congressmen Kurt Schrader (D-OR) and Ted Yoho (R-FL).
