In his opening comments this morning, NPPC President Sam Carney said they expect over 15,000 pork producers and pig enthusiasts to attend the three-day World Pork Expo in Des Moines this week. In addition, Carney noted the trade show includes over 400 exhibitors, over 1,700 pigs to compete in the open hog show, and visitors from over 25 foreign countries. "We anticipate much more activity and optimism from producesr this year," he added.
