With nearly three decades of experience, Nate Snyder is working with swine producers, feed mills and feed companies across the Midwestern United States to turn production goals into a reality.

“I have nearly 30 years of experience across the agriculture industry, and the people involved in producing the best protein sources in the world are the best,” says Snyder. “I enjoy working with a diverse group of people with common goals in an ever-changing landscape.”

As swine sales manager at NOVUS, Snyder helps customers implement solutions in all phases of pork production. He says his customers in the Midwest grapple with finding dedicated labor, production costs like raw feed prices, and disease challenges like porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus that cut into profits and lower employee morale.

“While we can’t solve every challenge, the intelligent nutrition solutions NOVUS offers can make a difference in production success,” he says.

Before joining NOVUS, Snyder held a variety of positions throughout the pork industry, including external feed milling manager for JBS USA, grow-finish operations manager with Cargill, business development manager with Lynch Livestock Inc., and national sales manager for ADM.

“His live production experience and knowledge on the feed production side complements our North America team quite well,” says Regional Sales Manager Eric Sanny. “He also adds expertise in feed milling, which allows him to connect with new customers and current customers differently. Expanding the team's presence in the U.S. is a key initiative and we’re glad to have Nate be part of reaching our goals.”

NOVUS is an intelligent nutrition company providing solutions for the global animal agriculture industry. The company’s portfolio includes bis-chelated organic trace minerals, enzymes, organic acids, essential oils, liquid and dry methionine, as well as a network of experts around the world to provide guidance on management best practices.
