Meat Slaughter Industry Survey
1 Min Read
The United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is planning a new survey of the meat slaughter industry to collect information about food safety practices and technologies.
The information will be used to estimate costs in regulatory impact analyses, to evaluate the effectiveness of its meat inspection program, and to conduct analyses to assess the industry’s food safety technologies, sanitation practices, microbiological testing practices, and recall readiness.
FSIS would like to update data last collected 10 years ago.
