South Korea’s ambassador to the United States believes the pending free trade agreement between the two countries will be of great benefit to farmers in both countries. But Dr. Ducksoo Han told participants at this year’s World Pork Expo that he is concerned time is running out for KORUS FTA. If the agreement isn’t ratified before Congress leaves for its August recess, Dr. Han believes the agreement may never be completed.
