"The best thing we can do to control pprcine circovirus type 2 is for us to use vaccine," says Darin Madson, Pathologist with Iowa State University. It reduces morbidity and mortality and it improves performance.

Since the introduction of circovirus vaccines, the percentage of cases of clinical disease has been greatly reduced, Madson says at an Intervet-Schering Plough Animal Health Sinar June 9 at World Pork Expo.
