Gestation stall-less rules would have economic impact on pork producers


Recent announcements from food service companies and retailers about bans on gestation stalls for sows have sent shock waves through the industry. Some estimate the bans could costs producers $200 to $300 per sow to convert their facilities. AgStar's Mark Greenwood talked about the impacts during a press conference at World Pork Expo.
