Max Armstrong offers news that the crop of durum wheat may be planted late and there may be fewer acres. There could be a 60% drop in durum acreage, according to news from Farm Broadcaster Al Gustin. Durum acreage in North Dakota could fall by a third. The price for the crop is at historic lows due to global competition. For example, Canadian durum production has been high, and of high quality.
