Pennsylvania pork producers seek emerging leaders
Year-long program will offer on-site tours of pork production facilities, feed mills and other pork industry supporting businesses.

The Pennsylania Pork Producers Council has opened applications for the upcoming class of the Emerging Leaders Academy. The ELA, a program led by the PPPC is focused on engaging future leaders within the pork industry.
The year-long program will offer on-site tours of pork production facilities, feed mills and other pork industry supporting businesses. There will be programs introducing the National Pork Board, Pork Checkoff and the National Pork Producers Council. In addition, members will have the opportunity to interact with leaders in the Pennsylvania pork industry.
Program applications are open now and will close in November 2023. Anyone with a passion for or a career in pork is encouraged to apply. Program spaces are limited, and event attendance is required.
