For the second consecutive year Triumph Foods has been recognized by the North American Meat Institute with the 2022 NAMI Worker Safety Recognition Award. This is NAMI's highest-ranking honor for worker safety and recognizes Triumph's commitment to safety, health, and reduction of injury and illness in the meat and poultry industry.

"The safety of our team members and the food we produce has always been our first and highest priority," said Triumph Foods President and CEO Matt England. "We are honored our safety-first culture is being recognized."

The recognition is part of a program that is administered by the National Safety Council and sponsored by NAMI. The program aims to improve safety performance through the establishment of sound safety and health programs at the plant level. The award certifies that Triumph Foods has achieved a high level of safety performance as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce occupational injury and illness.

"The collaboration of our safety teams in the plant makes Triumph Foods a safe place to work," said United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) Local 2 President Martin Rosas. "We are very proud of our members' efforts and our partnership with a company that has received this honor for two years in a row."

Triumph Foods has received several honors for workplace safety, including NAMI's Award of Merit. In 2021, the company also received the Safety Verified Certification through Matrix Clinical Solutions. That program, developed with Cleveland Clinic, demonstrates Triumph's commitment to limiting the impact of COVID-19 within its facility.
