Grandin worked with Caleb Lara, STF animal welfare and barns manager; Kodi Mozingo, Triumph Foods director of animal welfare; Gerard Polkinghorne, STF director of food safety and quality assurance; Shawn Smith, STF director of hog procurement; Stan Scott, STF general manager; Frank Koekkoek, STF vice president and general manager; and other auditor trainers to show attendees proper receiving, unloading, moving and monitoring of pigs in the STF stockyards, a facility she helped design.

"I was very impressed by the handling that was happening out there today," said Grandin during her recap of the day.

After the hands-on training, Grandin presented to the group about her auditing experiences in the meat industry, and what differences they will see from one plant to the next.
