The 31st Annual Carthage Veterinary Service Swine Conference will be held in person and at a new location in Quincy, Illinois on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

The U.S. pork industry continues to be fast paced with changes in foreign animal disease risk, export opportunities, alternative protein competition, welfare expectations, housing technologies, health challenges, and customer expectations. The conference continues to be unique in providing quick action-based speakers and topics uniquely designed for animal caregivers, managers, owners, and allied industry. With over 700 attendees, it is a place to learn, meet, and network.

Presenters will address the challenging labor situation, sharing best practices for employee recruiting, onboarding, and retention to support all levels of your business. In addition to sharing best practices on labor management, attendees will learn about Prop 12 and what it means for business as well as how to optimize feed costs in the increasingly dynamic grain markets.

The afternoon keynote will provide a series of rapid-fire production tips shared directly from some of the top production minds in the industry. Ideas and suggestions will be shared from a combination of independent producers, as well as large integrators on how they optimize performance within their farms and systems.
