A new single-shot, rapidly absorbed, long acting, broad-spectrum tulathromycin injection that delivers proven activity against a wide range of diseases—all in an exclusive plastic bottle—has been voted the winner of National Hog Farmer’s 2023 New Product Tour. Tulieve Solution, a ready-to-use semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic, captured the most votes to take home the Producer’s Choice Award today from World Pork Expo in Des Moines, Iowa.

Available in four convenient sizes, including an industry-exclusive 1 liter option, Tulieve Solution is delivered in plastic bottles to help protect against worker injury and costly product loss due to broken glass. Whether treating one animal or a whole barn for swine respiratory disease, Tulieve offers the same long-acting broad-spectrum efficacy against the same range of diseases producers have come to expect from a tulathromycin.

“Tulieve is an affordable alternative to Draxxin that puts worker safety top of mind,” said Dr. Megan Bollin, swine technical services for Norbrook. “It’s packaged in exclusive plastic bottles to improve user experience while also offering the same high expectations for treatment and control of SRD that come from a tulathromycin product.”

The New Product Tour was presented during the Global Hog Industry Virtual Conference on May 24. A panel of pork industry experts reviewed products, keeping in mind how each would benefit producers and the industry. Respective company representatives then presented a two-minute video or sales pitch to the panel of judges, after which the judges asked questions about the product in the style of TV's "Shark Tank."

Online voting for Producers Choice took place on the National Hog Farmer site, as well as at the National Hog Farmer Booth at the 2023 World Pork Expo in Des Moines.
