Industry veteran, Jon Thompson, has joined Ceva Animal Health’s swine division as a strategic account manager.
“Jon’s impressive sales track record, long-term customer relationships and deep understanding of swine production will complement Ceva’s efforts to provide value and exceptional service to customers,” says Gary Robertson, director Swine business.
Thompson joins Ceva from Bayer Animal Health where he had sales responsibilities for swine production companies, swine veterinarians and distribution partners in the United States. Prior to his career at Bayer, he spent more than 15 years in the industry including additional experience in both industry and swine production.
“The experience Jon brings from working on the production side of the business is extremely valuable in helping to understand the challenges swine producers face and providing solutions to those challenges,” says Matt Kocher, marketing director, Poultry and Swine. “That insight will be invaluable in helping our customers maintain heard health and meet production goals.”
Thompson holds a degree in agricultural education with an emphasis in animal science from Iowa State University.
