The Bureau of Prisons is putting pork roast back on the menu at federal prisons. Other pork items still will not be served.
Earlier this month the BOP had announced that it would not be serving any pork. This partial reversal by the BOP is the result of pressure from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and the pork industry.
