The International Longshore and Warehouse Union caucus delegates are recommending to the ILWU membership that the labor agreement between the union and the Pacific Maritime Association be approved.
The agreement which was reached after nine months of negotiations covers 20,000 dock workers at 29 West Coast ports. The final vote by the longshoreman will take place May 22.
