Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson have been out in the field getting harvest reports.  They hear from Rick Schlichting from Rice, MN. Jamie Johansen is in Wisconsin visiting the Gumz Farms to check on the onion harvest which ran very late this year. Paul Georgy of Allendale talks with Max and Orion about how the markets are reacting to harvest weather challenges.

Part 2

Paul Georgy of Allendale rejoins Max and Orion and they turn their attention to finding more customers for U.S. soybeans and proteins. Chad Colby in the Colby Ag Tech segment takes a look at artificial intelligence and its ability to count from aerial imagery. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Western United States.

Max Armstrong interviews Angela Boyer, a ruminant nutritionist with Kent Feed, about their latest efforts to increase dairy cattle production. Chad Colby returns to talk about planter check-up and tune-up time. Max remembers listening to tractor radios and talks to a collector of antique tractor radios, Orion Hodupp of Marion, Indiana.

Orion Samuelson visits with Andy Groseta of Cottonwod, AZ about the challenges livestock producers face when dealing with public lands. Max and Orion hear a report from Russell Nemetz marking the 75th anniversary of the Scott family’s Padlock Ranch where they have over 10,000 head of cattle in Wyoming.
