Max Armstrong and Steve Bridge talk about National Agriculture Week with Don Tourte, chairman of the Ag Council of America, and senior vice president, Farm Progress, discusses work of the group promoting agriculture for this week. Max and Steve talk markets with Brian Splitt, Allendale, Inc., including a look at the organization's acreage survey.

Max Armstrong Steve Bridge continue their market conversation with Brian Splitt, Allendale, Inc. Chad Colby, Colby AgTech, shares insight the rise of automation systems in and out of agriculture. Agricultural Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather in the Western United States.

Part 3

Max Armstrong and Steve Bridge talk about upcoming outdoor farm shows with Don Tourte, senior vice president, Farm Progress, who also directs the Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days. Tourte talks about renovations at Husker Harvest Days that will be a significant update for the facility. Max talks with Brad Harris, Firestone, about getting implements ready for the 2018 season, including a seven-point checklist.

Part 4

Max Armstrong and Steve Bridge offer a report from Lynn Ketelsen including worries about seed spills, which is a concern to regulators, including a program in Minnesota to monitor the issue. Ag Meteorologist Greg Soulje looks at weather for the Eastern United States. And in Max's Tractor Shed, Max Armstrong shares the story of a 1938 John Deere BWH 40, which its owner calls a holy grail for collectors. The machine is owned by Bruce Johnson, Rochelle, Ill., which is designed to straddle rows.
