Max Armstrong talks about planting season and the eagle Dad Decorah. (audio)

Well the roads are getting busier with farm equipment. In central Indiana, there’s no strong threat of rain for the next six days and it’s expected to be a good weekend for planting across many parts of the region.

The same, warm breezy conditions drying soil are creating fire danger.

There’s some sad news from northeast Iowa. There’s a nest with live, streaming camera on the nest. They do not believe the dad will be back to the nest. He went missing after snow in that area a little over week ago. Experts don’t know what happened to the eagle known as Dad Decorah. The eagle fathered 31 eaglets there over the years. There are three in the nest now.
