Max Armstrong talks about the death of Steve Albracht and Dan Harrahill. (audio)

Hundreds of people in Tennessee can breathe easier now. That teenage girl who went missing with her teacher has been found in California.

Steve Albracht, who farmed southeast of Lubbock, Texas, has died. He has achieved top corn yields and appeared on many programs. Last year 459 bushels to the acre, two and a half times national average yield.

Loss of prominent individual in small town can have a big impact. Dr. Dan Harrahill learned just last month that he was dying from colon cancer and wouldn't see his daughter get married later this summer or see his son graduate from high school this spring. Folks in St. Paul, Nebraska, put together combined ceremony for him in his hospital room.
