Max Armstrong talks about Old Man Winter and winds. (audio)

Old Man Winter had to leave some kind of a mark of us before exiting next week. 

Still picking up the pieces after last week's winds, some 1 million electric consumers were without power in Michigan till this weekend.

Northwest Iowa ethanol cars that went off tracks were of the older variety. Twenty cars of the 99-car Union Pacific train were derailed and caught fire. The accident happened less than 20 miles from where the train originated in Iowa.

Corn still slipped in overnight trade. 

March 31 is planting intentions report. Widely expected it will show jump in soybean acres.
