Relax, it's fake news. There no shortage of bacon. Social media went berserk. Calm down - take a breath - it's not true. A USDA Report out recently reported that frozen pork belly inventory was at its lowest point in 50 years, down 35 million pounds from the year before. The Ohio Pork Council even created a website, baconshortage.com and quoted Rich Deaton, president of the council, saying "Today's pig farmers are setting historic records by producing more pigs than ever, yet our reserves are still depleting." But the truth is that the frozen reserves are just that: reserves. There will be no rationing. Steve Meyer, a pork industry analysts, says there will no shortage of bacon. Seaton admits it was merely a marketing opportunity.

Max is busy in Nashville at the Cattlemen's Convention.

A woman saw a calf sitting in the front passenger seat of a parked car, took a picture and posted it to Facebook. At the last count, it had over 30,000 likes on Facebook.
