All of the pieces for the puzzle for the Federal Reserve rate hike are not together yet. The last piece will come Friday with report on jobs. Traders say there's an 80% chance the Fed will boost interest rates at their meeting next week. 

The state of Michigan has issued a $1 million challenge to anyone who is able to devise a feasible idea for keeping Asian carp out of the state's lakes. The carp were first imported 40 years ago to gobble up algae in southern fish farms. The invasive species have escaped and headed northward.

Former ag secretary Clayton Yeutter is being remembered for opening the Japanese market to U.S. beef. Yeutter, 86, died Saturday.
