Fake news - bacon shortage. There is no bacon shortage. Source of fake news, USDA reported that frozen pork belly inventory at lowest point in 50 years. Down more than 35 million pounds from year ago. The Ohio Pork Council boosted the shortage. Pork industry analyst Steve Meyer said there is going to be plenty of bacon.
