Steve Alexander is in for Max, and talks about accidents, from Sturgis to Kansas, in all forms of transportation, from cars and motorcycles to air balloons and farm equipment.

If driving in South Dakota, watch out for motorcycles. The 78th Sturgis Rally started Friday. There have already been deaths while driving.

A car went into the Kansas River in Lawrence, Kan. The mother (driver) of the car has been charged with attempted murder, after it was determined she drove into the river on purpose. One of her children died in the accident.

A Nebraska woman went hot air ballooning in Colorado and died after a hard landing.

There have also been several farm accidents lately. Be careful out there.

There's hospice care for pets.

State fair season is fast approaching.
