Max Armstrong shares a global market outlook for soybeans, which is seeing new buyers

March 2, 2020

Max Armstrong looks at the demand curve for soybeans according to the U.S. Soybean Export Council which is up 241% since 1990, which exceeds corn and wheat. The global demand for soybeans is growing at a rate of more than 500 million bushels per year. That demand is boosting global production, but farmer checkoff dollars that fund marketing efforts is helping increase demand for the U.S. crop.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
