July 8, 2021

Max Armstrong shares the good news of the investment story from the soybean checkoff. A wide range of new uses have been developed for the crop from printing ink to carpeting to car interiors and now car tires. Farmers have made that possible through their investments. In Minnesota, the state association is donating a set of Goodyear Enforcer tires, made with soybean oil compounds. Max shares the different tires from Goodyear that use the crop. About a bushel of soybeans is used to make a set of tires.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
